Dear Brethren,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The 2008 LCP calendars are now released to every congregation through the districts. You can observe that each month, you can find the vision, mission and goal of LCP. This is to help every member of the church to think and always be reminded of what we wnat LCP to be in the 21st century. May this be our thoughts as we continue to serve our Lord and HIs church as we ponder on His words to proclaim the gospel to all men.

We have three candidates for graduation this year. These are: Eradin Alvarez from Cagayan, Denver Dagano from Tinoc, Ifugao and Jordan Palangyos from Balakbak/Baguio. Our God willing, we will have additional three for the ministry beginning this year. But you have already knew, some of our pastros resigned and work abroad due to financial difficulties.Gerry Navarette to Spain, CRM Roberto Sumile to South Korea, Paterson Litawen to Japan, Villamor Cerde?ola to Italy, Joseph Chapichap and Jimmy Aquino to the USA and soon Arwyn Ladlad to Bahrain. In as much as we want them to serve here for more years, still we pray that God will guide them according to His purpose for them for the sake of His kingdom.

Pre-theology this year 2008 will start on April 14. Those interested please print and fill the form found on this website under Resources. You may send the fully filled form via e-mail or bring it when you arrive here in Baguio City. We are expecting at least six pre-theologians and hoping that these men will continue or proceed to the regular. The Seminary has three programs. You can also check this in the website under curriculumn. Please be guided accordingly and seek advise from your pastors. The Seminary will preovide Php 1,500.00 per month for your food and housing. We encourage the sending congregation to give extra for the students. Those who would like to take in the program of deacon and deaconess which is one year, there is no need for you to take pre-theology but for your food, the sending congregation will be responsible. All forms duly signed with other pertinent papers required must be in the hands of the Seminary on the first week of April.

Regarding the payments of calendar, we hope that all payments be submitted by the end of April. this is for us to know the total returns and to give us morte time to prepare for the next year calendars. I would like also to encourage all district presidents to provide news and complete church workers and pastors' names of their own district. Together is the lists of established congregations and outstations and new work. Please include also your e-mail address.

I would like also take this opportunity that those who would like to sponsor for the student's tuition fees, please inform us through our e-mail address. Each student will pay his tuition fee opf Php 6,000.00 each year. From time to time, we also include the list of sponsors in the Newsletter. Thank you and May God bless your ministry. This is all for now and may God's rich blessings be yours as you continue to serve Him and His church.

In His Name,

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord.
Greetings.
The month of October each year is designated as our remembrance of the Reformation. It is a time to reflect ourselves to the causes that changed the life of the Church through Dr. Martin Luther. In LCP, for several years we have celebrated the reformation with joy and thanksgiving to God for this is a great event in the church. With high hopes and pervent prayers from you, we will be able to pursue the primary task of the church given to us by the Lord which is the bringing of the Gospel to all men, in our families, relatives, communities and to the whole nation. Our country is suffering from  deformed ideologies, understanding and as a whole, selfishness still the biggest problem even in the church. I am therefore encouraging each worker and Lutheran christian in LCP to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ as the center of our lives. He who brought us from darkness into his marvelous light and He is the only One who can change in and out of every human being. This year's Reformation is a time to celebrate the greatness of the Lord whose myterious acts He did in LCP could bring changes among the members and the congregations. God has truly blessed us with so many blessings of opportunities. Our Seminary is still strong and sturdy in spite of so many odds. Most of our congregations now are focusing on the task of the Lord through the Ablaze Program. Many of our pastors are working hard in spite of the lack of financial support for they know that every support comes from the Lord alone. Former pastors and missionaries have prayed for LCP abd gave some supports to either pastors or congregations. Relationship among brothers and sisters which for some years discourages members, has returned and in fact became stronger through repentance and forgiveness. Many blessings can be listed and remembered but the main thing of all of these things is that nothing can separate us from the love of God which we have received through Jesus Christ and Savior. I would like to make this occassion to encourage the pastors and congregations not to forget that Reformation Sunday is also Seminary Sunday declared by LCP long time ago. Your prayers and the offerings for this Sunday will greatly give more encouragement from men who are contemplating to enter the work of ministry. May God bless you all and let us give thanks to God in all circumstances for in Him we have the blessed hope of eternity.
